With the title taken from her raciest poem, WILD NIGHTS WITH EMILY sheds new light on the life of famously reclusive poet, revealing her hidden romance with her brother’s wife, and the irreverent side of Dickinson that the world at large never saw. Exploring the fierce rivalry between her brother’s wife and his mistress—who published Dickinson’s poems after her death—the film is also about the struggle to bring to life the work of one of history’s most gifted poets.

Kansas City based filmmaker and OUT HERE NOW alum Lisa Marie Evans will be sharing an update and a special trailer about the Legacies of Lesbian Literature Project.

And, Elizabeth Andersen, the producer and host of the Sandra Moran Radio Book Club will introduce the screening.
